   Remove the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on top of the phone to eject the tray. Pull the SIM card tray completely out of the device.

   Heat the Rear Glass Cover

   Apply a heat gun or hairdryer along the outer edges of the rear cover for 2 minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

   Slice the Rear Adhesive

   Place a suction cup on the lower back glass, pull upward to create a gap, and insert an opening pick under the edge. Carefully slide the pick around the perimeter to sever the adhesive.

   Lift Off the Rear Glass

   Gently lift the back glass panel up and away from the phone body once all adhesive bonds are freed. Set the glass aside on a soft surface.

   Unscrew the Upper Midframe Shield

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the ten screws securing the upper plastic motherboard cover and wireless charging pad.

   Remove the Wireless Charging Assembly

   Insert a spudger under the top edge of the plastic shield and lift the wireless charging coil assembly out of the chassis.

   Disconnect the Battery Cable

   Use a plastic opening tool to pry the battery flex connector straight up from its motherboard socket to disconnect power.

   Unscrew the Loudspeaker Module

   Remove the seven Phillips #00 screws holding the bottom loudspeaker assembly to the main frame.

   Remove the Loudspeaker Assembly

   Pry beneath the edge of the loudspeaker unit using a spudger and remove it from the bottom of the device.

    Disconnect the Display Cable

    Locate the screen press connector on the motherboard's lower section and pop it open with a plastic tool.

    Heat the Display Panel Perimeter

    Apply high heat to the edges of the front display screen for 2-3 minutes to loosen the strong display adhesive.

    Slice the Screen Adhesive

    Attach a suction cup to the front screen, pull upward, and work plastic picks under the glass frame to slice through the adhesive perimeter.

    Remove the Broken Screen

    Carefully pull the screen off the frame while threading its ribbon cable through the slot in the chassis.

    Clean Old Adhesive off the Frame

    Scrape away remaining glue and glass fragments along the inner bezel using a spudger and isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply New Display Adhesive

    Place pre-cut adhesive strips precisely around the perimeter of the cleaned aluminum frame.

    Mount the New Screen

    Feed the new display flex cable through the slot in the frame and press the screen evenly into the adhesive channel.

    Reconnect the Display Cable

    Align and firmly press the screen ribbon connector back into its motherboard header until it clicks.

    Reconnect the Battery

    Snap the battery flex cable back onto the motherboard press connector.

    Reinstall Speaker and Upper Shield

    Position the loudspeaker module and wireless charging shield back into the frame, then reinstall all original Phillips #00 screws.

    Seal the Back Cover

    Apply new rear adhesive strips to the edges, align the back glass, and press firmly for 1 minute to seal the phone closed.
