   Power down the device

   Turn off your LG V60 completely before starting disassembly. Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen.

   Remove SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole on the top edge of the frame. Push firmly to pop the tray out and remove it.

   Heat the rear glass cover

   Apply heat around the outer perimeter of the glass back panel for two minutes using a heat gun or hairdryer to soften the adhesive.

   Attach suction cup tool

   Press a suction cup firmly near the bottom edge of the rear glass panel to create a secure seal.

   Create an opening gap

   Pull up on the suction cup while inserting a thin plastic opening pick into the gap between the glass and the outer frame.

   Slice perimeter adhesive

   Slide plastic picks along all four edges of the back cover to cut through the perimeter tape. Apply extra heat if you feel resistance.

   Lift off rear glass

   Gently lift the back glass panel away from the chassis. Store it safely on a clean, soft surface.

   Unscrew upper midframe

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 11 screws holding down the top plastic midframe and wireless charging pad.

   Remove wireless charging module

   Insert a plastic spudger under the top cover edge and gently pop it off the motherboard housing.

    Unscrew bottom speaker housing

    Remove the 7 Phillips #00 screws securing the lower loudspeaker assembly.

    Remove lower speaker assembly

    Pry up the loudspeaker module using a spudger and remove it from the device.

    Disconnect battery flex cable

    Use the flat end of a plastic spudger to pry the press-fit battery connector straight up from its motherboard socket.

    Apply isopropyl alcohol

    Drip a small amount of high-purity isopropyl alcohol along the left and right sides of the battery well to weaken the strong adhesive.

    Pry out old battery

    Insert a plastic prying tool beneath the battery edges and slowly lever it upward until it releases from the frame.

    Clean battery compartment

    Scrape away remaining glue and wipe the metal cavity clean using a lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply battery adhesive strips

    Peel the protective backing off new battery adhesive strips and lay them flat in the empty battery recess.

    Install new battery

    Place the replacement battery into the frame and press down firmly across its surface to secure it to the fresh adhesive.

    Reconnect battery flex cable

    Align the press connector carefully over its socket and press straight down until it snaps firmly into place.

    Reinstall speaker assembly

    Position the loudspeaker module over the lower frame section and press down to snap it into place.

    Secure speaker screws

    Reinstall and tighten the 7 Phillips #00 screws to secure the speaker module.

    Reinstall upper midframe

    Align the top cover with the motherboard and press down around the edges to engage its plastic clips.

    Secure upper midframe screws

    Fasten the 11 Phillips #00 screws to hold the wireless charging assembly tightly against the board.

    Apply rear cover adhesive

    Lay precut double-sided adhesive strips around the rim of the phone body, peeling away the top plastic backing.

    Seal rear glass panel

    Align the rear glass cover with the edges of the phone frame and press firmly along all sides to create a seal.

    Reinsert SIM card tray

    Slide the SIM tray back into its slot on the top of the phone until flush with the outer frame.
