Power Off the Device

Eject the SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the top edge of the frame. Push firmly to pop the tray out and remove it.

Heat the Back Glass
2 minApply a heat gun or hair dryer around the edges of the rear cover for two minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

Attach the Suction Cup
1 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back glass and pull upward gently to create a small gap.

Slice the Perimeter Adhesive

2 minInsert a spudger under the bottom speaker housing and gently lever the component out of the cavity.

Position the Replacement Speaker
2 minSet the new loudspeaker module into the lower chassis cavity and push gently until it sits flush.

Fasten Speaker Screws
2 minReinstall and tighten the Phillips screws to secure the speaker module to the frame.

Reconnect the Battery
1 minAlign the battery flex connector over its socket on the logic board and press down firmly until it clicks.
