   Power off the device

   Press and hold the Power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Eject SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole beside the card slot on the top frame. Push gently to pop out the tray and set it aside.

   Heat the rear glass cover

   Apply a heat gun or heated pad to the edges of the rear glass cover for two minutes to soften the factory adhesive.

   Attach suction cup

   Press a heavy-duty suction cup onto the lower third of the rear glass panel. Pull gently upward to create a small gap.

   Slice bottom adhesive layer

   Insert an opening pick into the gap created at the bottom edge. Slide the pick back and forth along the bottom rim.

   Slice remaining glass perimeter adhesive

   Guide the opening pick carefully along the left, right, and top edges of the phone to loosen all back glass adhesive.

   Remove rear glass panel

   Lift the rear glass off the chassis completely once all adhesive bond is broken. Set the glass in a safe location.

   Unscrew midframe shield fasteners

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all visible screws securing the upper midframe cover and speaker module.

   Pry up upper midframe cover

   Insert a spudger under the edge of the wireless charging midframe cover. Pop the plastic clips loose and lift the cover off.

    Remove lower loudspeaker module

    Gently wedge a spudger under the bottom loudspeaker housing. Pry upward to unclip and remove it from the frame.

    Disconnect battery flex cable

    Use the flat edge of a spudger to detach the battery press-fit connector directly from the motherboard.

    Apply battery adhesive remover

    Apply a few drops of battery adhesive remover or isopropyl alcohol into the gaps surrounding the old battery.

    Pry battery out of well

    Slide a plastic opening card beneath the battery edge. Pry upward slowly and steadily until the adhesive releases.

    Clean battery well residue

    Wipe away leftover glue and chemical residue from the aluminum frame using isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.

    Install replacement adhesive strips

    Peel the backing from new battery adhesive strips and lay them flat inside the battery recess.

    Press new battery into place

    Align the replacement battery into the frame recess and press down firmly for ten seconds to set the adhesive.

    Attach battery flex connector

    Align the battery press connector over its motherboard socket and press down gently until it snaps into place.

    Reinstall upper and lower midframes

    Position the top motherboard midframe shield and lower speaker module back over the phone assembly.

    Secure midframe screws

    Reinsert and tighten all Phillips #00 screws to firm up the midframe and loudspeaker.

    Apply rear cover seal

    Align a pre-cut rear glass adhesive gasket onto the outer frame edge and remove its protective liner.

    Align the back glass over the frame and press firmly along all edges to ensure a tight, dust-resistant bond.
