Step-by-step

Remove SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left side of the frame and remove the SIM card tray.

Heat Rear Glass
3 minApply a heat gun or hair dryer around the edges of the rear glass for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup
2 minPlace a suction cup on the lower portion of the rear glass and pull upward firmly to create a small gap.

Slice Rear Adhesive
4 minInsert a plastic opening pick into the gap and slide it along all four edges to slice through the perimeter adhesive.

Remove Rear Glass
2 minCarefully lift the rear glass off the phone chassis and set it aside on a clean surface.

Unscrew Upper Shield
3 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the ten screws securing the upper midframe shield and wireless charging coil.

Remove Upper Shield
2 minPry up the upper plastic shield using a spudger to expose the top section of the logic board.

Unscrew Loudspeaker Module
2 minRemove the six Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker assembly to the frame.

2 minUse a plastic spudger to lift and remove the bottom loudspeaker module from the phone.

Disconnect Battery Press Connector
1 minPry the battery press connector straight up from the motherboard using a plastic spudger to cut power.

Disconnect Display Flex Cable
1 minUnclip the display flex cable press connector located near the right-middle section of the logic board.

Disconnect Interconnect Flex Cables
2 minDetach the daughterboard interconnect and charging port flex cable connectors from the lower portion of the board.

Disconnect Front Cameras
2 minPry up the front-facing camera module press connectors along the top edge of the logic board.

Disconnect 5G Antenna Cables
2 minUse fine tweezers to gently unclip the micro-coaxial antenna connectors from the side of the logic board.

Remove Logic Board
3 minGently lift the logic board from its top edge and pull it free from the phone housing.
