   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the right side of the device to release the SIM tray. Pull the tray completely out of the phone.

   Heat Rear Cover

   Apply a heat gun or hairdryer along the outer edges of the glass rear cover for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the factory adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and gently pull upward to create a small gap.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap under the glass edge to hold it open.

   Slice Perimeter Adhesive

   Carefully slide the pick around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the glue. Keep the pick flat to avoid damaging internal flex cables.

   Disconnect Fingerprint Cable

   Slightly lift the rear glass from the left side and use a spudger to pop the fingerprint sensor flex cable off its motherboard connector.

   Remove Rear Glass

   Lift the rear glass cover completely off the phone and place it on a clean surface.

   Unscrew Midframe Fasteners

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 16 screws holding down the top wireless charging frame and lower speaker module.

   Remove Wireless Charging Module

   Pry up the plastic midframe section housing the wireless charging pad using a spudger and lift it out.

    Remove Loudspeaker Assembly

    Insert a plastic pry tool under the bottom loudspeaker module and lift it out of the frame.

    Disconnect Battery Connector

    Use the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the battery flex cable directly from the motherboard.

    Apply Isopropyl Alcohol

    Drip a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol along the edges of the battery compartment to loosen the strong glue underneath.

    Pry Battery Upward

    Insert a plastic opening card or flat spudger under the battery's edge. Slowly pry upward to break the adhesive bond.

    Lift Out Old Battery

    Carefully remove the battery from the phone housing, ensuring you do not puncture or deform it.

    Use isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to clean away remaining adhesive residue inside the battery bay.

    Apply Battery Adhesive Strips

    Place new double-sided battery adhesive strips onto the bottom of the battery compartment.

    Align the replacement battery in the compartment and press down firmly so it sticks to the new adhesive.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker Assembly

    Position the loudspeaker module back at the bottom of the device and press down until it snaps flush.

    Reinstall Wireless Charging Midframe

    Place the top midframe with the wireless charging coil onto the upper section of the phone.

    Secure Midframe Screws

    Reinstall and tighten the 16 Phillips #00 screws to firmly secure both the midframe and loudspeaker.

    Reconnect Fingerprint Cable

    Hold the back glass near the motherboard and reattach the fingerprint sensor connector using your finger or flat end of a spudger.

    Apply Rear Glass Adhesive

    Place a pre-cut rear glass adhesive gasket around the perimeter of the frame.

    Reseal Rear Glass

    Align the rear glass panel over the chassis and press firmly along all edges to form a solid seal.

    Reinsert SIM Tray

    Push the SIM card tray back into its slot on the right side of the frame until flush.
