Step-by-step

Turn Off Phone
1 minPress and hold the Power button on the side, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully powered down before proceeding.

Eject SIM Tray

2 minPry up the lower speaker housing assembly using a spudger and lift it clear of the body.

3 minDisconnect the flex cables for the front-facing and rear-facing camera modules attached to the logic board using tweezers or a spudger.

Disconnect Sub-Board and Display Flexes
3 minPop off the connectors for the main display cable, lower charging board interconnect flex, and side button cables.

Unscrew Logic Board Fastener
1 minLocate and remove the single Phillips #000 screw securing the top portion of the logic board to the frame.
