   Power Off Device

   Press and hold the Power button, then tap Power Off on the screen.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the side frame and push firmly to pop out the tray.

   Heat Rear Glass

   Apply continuous heat along the rear glass edges with a heat gun for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower section of the rear glass panel.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Pull up on the suction cup and slide an opening pick into the gap created at the bottom edge.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Slide the pick along the entire perimeter of the back glass to slice through all retaining adhesive.

   Remove Rear Glass

   Lift the rear glass cover away from the phone frame and place it on a clean surface.

   Unscrew Upper Midframe

   Remove the ten Phillips #00 screws securing the upper midframe and wireless charging coil.

   Remove Upper Shield

   Pry up the edges of the wireless charging assembly with a spudger and lift it off the board.

    Unscrew Speaker Assembly

    Remove the five Phillips #00 screws holding down the lower loudspeaker housing.

    Remove Loudspeaker

    Insert a spudger beneath the loudspeaker edge and pop the module out of the frame.

    Disconnect Battery

    Use a plastic spudger to disconnect the battery flex cable straight up from the mainboard.

    Disconnect Display Cable

    Pry up the press connector for the display flex cable located on the motherboard.

    Heat Front Screen

    Warm the front screen perimeter evenly for three minutes using a heat gun to loosen the display adhesive.

    Attach Front Suction Cup

    Place the suction cup near the bottom edge of the cracked front glass assembly.

    Pry Screen Glass

    Pull up on the suction cup and insert a thin opening pick between the screen glass and the phone frame.

    Slice Screen Adhesive

    Carefully slide the opening pick around all four sides of the screen to cut the adhesive.

    Separate Damaged Screen

    Feed the display ribbon cable through the slot in the frame and lift the screen off completely.

    Clean Frame Adhesive

    Clean remaining adhesive residue from the frame recess using isopropyl alcohol and a flat tool.

    Apply Screen Adhesive

    Lay fresh double-sided adhesive strips along the internal rim of the front frame assembly.

    Install New Screen

    Thread the new screen ribbon cable through the frame opening and press the display firmly into position.

    Connect Display Cable

    Align and press the new display flex connector onto the motherboard until it snaps in.

    Reconnect Battery

    Press the battery cable press connector straight down onto the motherboard socket.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker

    Set the lower loudspeaker module back into place and fasten its five Phillips #00 screws.

    Reinstall Upper Shield

    Place the wireless charging assembly over the board and secure it with ten Phillips #00 screws.

    Seal Rear Glass

    Apply new rear adhesive strips, align the rear glass panel, and press firmly along the edges.
