Power Off the Phone
1 minPress and hold the power button on the rear panel, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before proceeding.

Remove the Back Cover
2 minInsert a plastic prying tool into the notch at the bottom edge of the back cover. Pry upward gently to release the clips and lift off the cover.

Remove the Battery
1 minUse a spudger or your fingernail to lift the battery out from the lower recess. Set the battery aside in a safe place.

Eject SIM and MicroSD Cards
1 minSlide out the SIM card and microSD card from their respective slots above the battery compartment using a spudger.

Unscrew Midframe Fasteners
4 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all 18 screws holding the midframe assembly to the phone chassis.

Detach Upper Plastic Accent Cap
2 minInsert a plastic pry tool under the top accent cap near the headphone jack. Gently pry upward to unclip and remove it.

Detach Lower Plastic Accent Cap
2 minPry beneath the bottom accent cap near the charging port. Unclip the cap and pull it free from the chassis.

Pry Off Middle Assembly Frame
3 minInsert a spudger along the inner seam of the plastic midframe. Pry around the perimeter until the frame unclips from the body.

Disconnect Front Dual-Camera Assembly
2 minUse the flat edge of a spudger to pry straight up on the front dual-camera flex connector. Lift the camera module off the board.

Disconnect Rear Main Camera
2 minPry up the press-fit connector for the rear camera module using a spudger. Remove the rear camera from its housing socket.

Disconnect Display Cable Connector
2 minLocate the main display flex connector near the upper center of the board. Pop the connector straight up off its socket.

Disconnect Headphone Jack Flex Cable
2 minUse a spudger to disconnect the headphone jack flex cable connector located at the lower portion of the board.

Unclip Logic Board from Frame
3 minInsert a plastic opening tool under the top edge of the logic board. Carefully lift the board to disengage the frame clips.

Lift Out Logic Board
2 minGrasp the logic board by its outer edges and lift it out of the phone chassis. Ensure no flex cables snag during removal.

Transfer Components to Replacement Board
3 minUse tweezers to transfer any remaining thermal pads or soft spacers to the replacement logic board.

Install Replacement Logic Board
3 minAngle the bottom of the replacement logic board into the frame, then press the top down until it clicks into place.

Reconnect Flex Cables
3 minPress down firmly on the display, headphone jack, rear camera, and front camera press connectors to lock them onto the board.

Reassemble Frame and Enclosure
5 minSnap the midframe and plastic end caps into place, reinstall all 18 Phillips screws, then insert the SIM card, battery, and back cover.
