Power Off Phone
1 minPress and hold the power button, then tap Power Off to turn off the device completely.

Eject SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the top left edge and remove the SIM card tray.

Heat Rear Glass
2 minApply heat evenly along the edges of the rear glass cover for two minutes using a heat gun on low.

Attach Suction Cup
1 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the glass back panel and pull upward to create a slight gap.

Slice Rear Adhesive
3 minInsert a thin plastic prying tool into the gap and slide it carefully along the perimeter to slice the adhesive.

Disconnect Fingerprint Sensor
2 minSlightly tilt open the back cover and use a spudger to gently pop off the fingerprint sensor flex cable.

Remove Rear Glass
1 minLift the rear glass cover entirely away from the chassis and place it in a safe area.

2 minRemove the Phillips #00 screws holding the plastic upper motherboard cover in place.

1 minPry up and remove the plastic upper motherboard cover using a spudger.

Unscrew Loudspeaker Module
2 minRemove the Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker assembly to the frame.

1 minInsert a spudger beneath the lower loudspeaker housing and lift it out of the phone.

Disconnect Port Interconnect Cable
1 minPry up the main flex cable connector from the top of the charging port sub-board.

Disconnect Antenna Cables
2 minUse tweezers to unclip the coaxial antenna cables connected to the lower sub-board.

Remove Charging Port Board
2 minInsert a flat spudger under the sub-board and lift the damaged charging port assembly out of the chassis.

Install New Charging Board
2 minPosition the replacement charging port board in the bottom housing and press down until seated.

Attach Antenna Cables
2 minSnap the coaxial antenna cables securely back onto their corresponding board terminals using tweezers.

Reconnect Interconnect Cable
1 minAlign and press the main interconnect flex cable back onto the charging board connector.

Reinstall Loudspeaker Module
1 minSet the loudspeaker housing over the lower board and press down to lock it into place.

Fasten Loudspeaker Screws
2 minReinsert and tighten the Phillips #00 screws holding the loudspeaker module down.

Apply Back Adhesive and Seal
3 minApply fresh precut adhesive to the perimeter and press the rear glass cover firmly into place.
