Step-by-step

Eject the SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool or pin into the hole on the right edge of the device to pop out the tray.

Heat the Rear Glass
2 minApply a heat gun or hair dryer along the edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup
2 minPlace a suction cup on the lower portion of the rear glass and pull upward gently to create a gap.

Slice Rear Adhesive
3 minInsert a plastic prying tool into the seam and slide it along the perimeter to cut through the glue.

Lift Off Back Cover
1 minCarefully remove the rear glass panel and place it safely aside.

Unscrew Top Midframe
3 minRemove the eleven Phillips #00 screws securing the wireless charging coil and upper midframe shield.

Remove Upper Midframe
2 minPry up the edge of the wireless charging assembly with a spudger and remove it from the phone.

Unscrew Loudspeaker Module
2 minRemove the Phillips #00 screws holding down the lower speaker housing.

Detach Speaker Module
1 minInsert your spudger under the loudspeaker assembly and lift it out of the chassis.

Disconnect Battery Connector
1 minUse a plastic spudger to unsnap the battery press-connector from the motherboard to cut power.

Unplug Display and Camera Flexes
3 minDisconnect the rear camera, front camera, headphone jack, and display connectors from the logic board.

Remove Board Retaining Screw
1 minRemove the single Phillips #00 screw securing the top portion of the motherboard to the frame.

Remove the Logic Board
2 minGently lift the logic board out of the phone chassis by its edges, avoiding any remaining cables.

Set Replacement Logic Board
2 minAlign the new logic board with the housing pegs and press it smoothly into position.

Reconnect All Flex Cables
3 minPress down firmly on all camera, display, and battery connectors to snap them into their logic board sockets.

Reinstall Speaker and Shields
3 minReplace the speaker module and wireless charging midframe, then tighten all original Phillips screws.

3 minApply new adhesive tape along the frame, align the rear glass panel, and press firmly to seal.
