   Power Off Phone

   Press and hold the power button on the back of the device, then tap Power Off on the screen.

   Eject SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool or thin paperclip into the hole beside the SIM tray on the right side. Push firmly to eject the tray and remove it.

   Heat Rear Glass Panel

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on medium setting to warm the edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower portion of the rear glass cover and press firmly to secure suction.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Pull up on the suction cup to create a small gap at the bottom edge and slide an opening pick into the seam.

   Slice Bottom Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick along the bottom edge of the phone to cut through the adhesive seal.

   Slice Left Adhesive

   Carefully move the pick around the bottom-left corner and slide it up to the top of the left side edge.

   Slice Right Adhesive

   Insert a second pick into the bottom edge and slide it up the right side of the device to cut that adhesive seam.

   Slice Top Adhesive

   Slide the pick across the top edge of the back panel, taking care not to insert the pick more than 5mm deep.

    Remove Rear Glass

    Gently lift the rear glass panel straight off the phone chassis and set it aside.

    Unscrew Upper Midframe

    Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the eleven 3.5 mm screws securing the wireless charging assembly and upper midframe.

    Remove Upper Midframe

    Insert a flat spudger under the edge of the upper midframe and pop it loose from the clips securing it to the frame.

    Unscrew Speaker Assembly

    Remove the five Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom speaker housing module.

    Remove Speaker Module

    Pry up the speaker module from the bottom edge of the phone frame using a spudger and lift it clear.

    Disconnect Battery Cable

    Use the flat end of a plastic spudger to pry the battery flex cable connector straight up from its motherboard socket.

    Apply Isopropyl Alcohol

    Apply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol around the edges of the battery to weaken the underlying glue.

    Pry Out Old Battery

    Insert a plastic card or flat plastic spudger beneath the battery and gently pry upwards until the adhesive releases. Never use metal tools or bend the battery.

    Clean Battery Well

    Wipe away remaining adhesive residue from the frame recess using a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply New Battery Adhesive

    Peel the backing off new double-sided adhesive strips and place them flat inside the battery recess.

    Install Replacement Battery

    Align the new battery in the well and press down firmly across its surface to set it into the adhesive.

    Connect New Battery Cable

    Align the battery flex connector over its socket on the motherboard and press down until it snaps cleanly into place.

    Reinstall Speaker Assembly

    Position the speaker module over the bottom frame and press gently until it sits flush.

    Secure Speaker Assembly Screws

    Reinsert and tighten the five Phillips #00 screws on the lower speaker module.

    Reinstall Upper Midframe

    Place the upper midframe and wireless charging pad back over the motherboard and snap the perimeter tabs into place.

    Secure Upper Midframe Screws

    Drive the eleven Phillips #00 screws back into the upper midframe until snug.

    Apply Rear Cover Adhesive

    Clean remaining old glue from the outer frame perimeter, then attach a pre-cut replacement adhesive gasket.

    Press Rear Glass Into Place

    Align the back panel glass carefully over the rear housing and press firmly along all edges to seat the adhesive seal.

    Reinsert SIM Tray

    Slide the SIM and microSD card tray back into its slot on the side of the phone until flush.
