Power Off the Phone
1 minPress and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously, then tap 'Power off' on the screen.

Heat the Rear Glass
2 minApply a heat gun or iOpener around the edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach a Suction Handle
1 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear glass and pull upward gently to create a slight gap.

Insert an Opening Pick
2 minSlide an opening pick into the gap under the rear glass at the bottom edge.

Slice the Perimeter Adhesive
3 minSlide the pick around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the factory adhesive layer.

Lift the Rear Glass
1 minGently pivot open the rear glass panel from the left side, taking care not to strain any sensor ribbon cables.

Unscrew the Lower Shield Bracket
2 minUse a Torx T3 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lower loudspeaker cover shield.

Disconnect the Battery Flex Cable

3 minApply fresh pre-cut adhesive around the frame, align the rear glass panel, and press firmly around the edges to seal.
