Power Off Your Pixel
1 minPress and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously, then select Power Off on the screen.

Heat the Perimeter of the Screen
3 minApply heat to the outer edges of the display using a heat gun on low for two to three minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach a Suction Cup
1 minPlace a suction cup onto the lower half of the front glass and press firmly to create a tight seal.

Lift Screen and Insert Pick
3 minPull up steadily on the suction cup to create a slight gap at the bottom edge, then insert an opening pick into the gap.

Slice Bottom Edge Adhesive
2 minSlide the pick slowly along the bottom edge of the phone to cut through the screen adhesive.

2 minGuide the pick around the bottom-right corner and move up toward the top edge.

2 minSlide the pick across the top edge near the speaker mesh, taking care not to insert it more than 3mm deep.

2 minMove the pick down the left edge gently to clear the remaining perimeter adhesive without damaging the flex cable.
