   Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously, then tap 'Power off' on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before proceeding.

   Heat lower back glass

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on low setting to heat the bottom edge of the back glass for 2 minutes. The glass should feel warm to the touch, softening the factory adhesive beneath.

   Attach suction cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower portion of the back glass, just above the USB-C port. Press down firmly to create a tight vacuum seal.

   Insert opening pick

   Pull up on the suction cup handle to create a tiny gap between the back glass and the aluminum frame. Immediately slide a thin opening pick into the gap.

   Slice bottom adhesive

   Slide the opening pick slowly along the bottom edge of the phone to sever the adhesive bond. Leave the pick inserted to prevent the adhesive from re-sealing.

   Heat left edge

   Apply heat to the left edge of the rear glass for approximately 90 seconds. Keep the heat source moving continuously to prevent localized overheating.

   Slice left adhesive

   Insert a second opening pick and slide it up the left edge toward the camera visor. Be careful not to insert the pick deeper than 4 mm to avoid internal flex cables.

   Heat right edge

   Heat the right edge of the back panel thoroughly with your heat gun. Ensure the perimeter is sufficiently warmed before prying.

   Slice right adhesive

   Guide an opening pick along the right edge from the bottom corner up toward the top. Keep the pick shallow to avoid damaging internal components.

    Heat camera visor area

    Apply focused heat around the camera visor bar and the top edge of the back glass for 2 minutes. The adhesive around the aluminum visor is thick and strong.

    Slice top adhesive

    Slide your pick carefully beneath the top glass perimeter and around the camera visor seam. Gently cut through the remaining adhesive strip.

    Remove old back glass

    Lift the back glass panel straight up and off the phone frame. Set the damaged panel aside on a flat, safe surface.

    Scrape residual adhesive

    Use a plastic spudger or flat prying tool to scrape away old adhesive strips stuck to the aluminum frame perimeter. Take care not to scratch the inner frame.

    Clean frame border

    Apply a few drops of high-purity isopropyl alcohol to a microfiber cloth and wipe down the frame recess. Ensure the mating surface is completely clean and dry.

    Apply back glass adhesive

    Peel the protective backing from your new pre-cut adhesive gasket and align it carefully over the frame border. Press along all edges to ensure firm adhesion.

    Install new back glass

    Remove the remaining adhesive cover film and position the replacement back glass precisely over the frame. Press down firmly along all outer edges and around the camera visor.

    Clamp new back glass

    Place heavy books or spring clamps with padded tips along the edges of the phone for at least 30 minutes. This ensures a tight, water-resistant seal as the adhesive cures.
