   Power off the device

   Press and hold the power button and volume up key, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before continuing.

   Remove the SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole on the lower left side of the frame. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then remove it completely.

   Heat the rear panel

   Apply heat to the edges of the back cover using a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat for about two minutes. This softens the adhesive securing the plastic panel to the frame.

   Apply the suction cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower section of the rear cover near the USB-C port. Pull up gently on the ring to create a slight gap between the cover and the body frame.

   Insert an opening pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the seam opened by the suction cup. Do not insert the pick further than 3 mm to avoid damaging internal ribbons.

   Slice the rear adhesive

   Carefully slide the opening pick along the bottom, sides, and top perimeter of the rear cover to cut through all adhesive strips.

   Remove the rear panel

   Lift the rear panel straight off the phone housing. Set the panel aside on a clean workspace.

   Remove the lower speaker screws

   Use a Torx T3 screwdriver to remove the five screws securing the lower loudspeaker assembly at the bottom of the phone.

   Remove the upper frame screws

   Unscrew the remaining Torx T3 screws securing the plastic midframe and wireless charging coil plate at the top portion of the phone.

    Detach the upper midframe shield

    Gently lift the upper midframe plate out of the housing using a plastic spudger and set it aside.

    Disconnect the battery

    Use the flat end of a spudger to pop the battery press connector directly off its socket on the motherboard.

    Remove the faulty loudspeaker

    Pry up the bottom loudspeaker module using a spudger and remove it from the bottom cavity of the device.

    Insert the replacement loudspeaker

    Place the new loudspeaker module into the lower frame cavity and press gently along its edges until it sits completely flush.

    Reconnect the battery cable

    Align the battery press connector over its motherboard socket and press down firmly until it clicks into place.

    Position the upper midframe shield

    Lower the upper midframe shield back into position, ensuring all alignment tabs drop correctly into the frame slots.

    Secure all midframe screws

    Reinstall and tighten all Torx T3 screws across the upper midframe and lower loudspeaker assembly.

    Apply fresh back cover adhesive

    Clean remaining adhesive from the rear frame using isopropyl alcohol, then lay down a pre-cut replacement adhesive strip along the perimeter.

    Reattach the rear panel

    Align the back panel over the device frame and press down firmly along all four edges to seal the adhesive.
