   Power Off the Phone

   Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device shuts down completely before proceeding.

   Heat the Screen Edges

   Apply a heat gun or hairdryer evenly around the perimeter of the front screen for 2 to 3 minutes. Heating softens the adhesive holding the display to the frame.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the screen glass. Pull up on the suction ring firmly to create a tiny gap between the display panel and the frame.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created at the bottom edge. Do not push the pick deeper than 3 mm to avoid damaging internal components.

   Slice Bottom Edge Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick horizontally along the bottom bezel to cut through the adhesive. Leave the pick in the bottom corner to prevent the glass from re-sealing.

   Slice Left Edge Adhesive

   Insert a second opening pick and slide it along the left edge toward the top corner. Take care not to tilt the pick deep into the chassis.

   Slice Top Edge Adhesive

   Slide an opening pick across the top border near the earpiece speaker. Keep your pick insertion shallow to avoid damaging the front camera module.

   Slice Right Edge Adhesive

   Move the pick along the right edge of the display to sever the remaining perimeter adhesive. Ensure the screen loosens completely from all sides.

   Lift the Display Panel

   Gently hinge open the display panel from the right edge like a book. Do not pull the screen off completely, as delicate ribbon cables remain connected.

    Remove Metal Bracket Screws

    Use a T3 Torx screwdriver to unfasten the two screws securing the metal display cable bracket. Place the screws in a safe location for reassembly.

    Remove Metal Display Bracket

    Grasp the metal cable shield bracket with precision tweezers and lift it out of the phone body. Set it aside with its corresponding screws.

    Disconnect Display Cable

    Insert the flat edge of a plastic spudger under the display ribbon cable connector and pop it straight up from the motherboard socket. Separate the old display assembly.

    Clean Adhesive from Frame

    Scrape off all remaining adhesive strips and tiny glass shards from the perimeter of the aluminum frame using a plastic spudger and tweezers.

    Wipe Frame with Isopropyl Alcohol

    Dampen a microfiber cloth with high-concentration isopropyl alcohol and thoroughly clean the inner frame seating area. This ensures strong adhesion for the new screen.

    Apply Replacement Display Adhesive

    Align and press the custom pre-cut adhesive gasket onto the outer lip of the phone frame. Peel away the top protective film to expose the adhesive surface.

    Connect New Display Cable

    Position the replacement screen close to the phone and press the display flex cable connector firmly into its motherboard socket until it clicks.

    Reinstall Metal Display Bracket

    Place the metal shield back over the display cable connector. Thread and tighten the two T3 Torx screws to secure the connector in place.

    Press Display onto Frame

    Align the replacement screen carefully with the phone body and lower it down into position. Apply firm, uniform pressure along all edges to bond the adhesive.
