   Remove the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the bottom left frame to pop out the SIM tray. Pull the tray completely out of the phone.

   Heat the Screen Edges

   Apply a heat gun set to low heat along the perimeter of the glass display for two minutes. This softens the strong waterproof adhesive holding the screen.

   Apply Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup onto the lower third of the display glass and press down firmly to seal it. Pull upward on the handle to create a tiny seam between the glass and frame.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Push the tip of a plastic opening pick directly into the seam created near the bottom edge. Do not insert the pick deeper than 3 mm to avoid display damage.

   Slice Display Adhesive

   Slide the plastic pick around all four edges of the phone frame to slice through the adhesive. Reapply heat if the pick encounters heavy resistance.

   Open the Display

   Gently lift the top edge of the display and pivot the screen toward the left side of the frame like a book. Keep the screen flat so you do not stress the flex cable.

   Unscrew Display Bracket

   Use a T3 Torx screwdriver to remove the single screw securing the metal display cable cover bracket. Keep the screw separate for reassembly.

   Remove Display Cable Bracket

   Use tweezers to lift the metal shield bracket off the logic board. Store the bracket in a secure place.

   Disconnect the Display

   Pry the display press connector straight up from its socket on the motherboard using the flat end of a spudger. Lift the screen away completely.

    Unscrew Speaker Assembly

    Remove the T3 Torx screws holding down the lower midframe speaker housing at the bottom of the device chassis.

    Remove Lower Speaker Assembly

    Insert a plastic spudger beneath the lower speaker module and pry upward to free it from the phone body. Remove the speaker to access the microphone board.

    Disconnect the Battery

    Locate the battery flex cable connector near the center motherboard and pry it straight up using a plastic spudger to disconnect power.

    Disconnect Antenna Cables

    Use tweezers to carefully unsnap the blue and white coaxial antenna cable heads from the lower daughterboard containing the primary microphone.

    Disconnect Lower Flex Cable

    Use a plastic spudger to pry up the main ribbon cable connector from the daughterboard assembly.

    Unscrew Microphone Daughterboard

    Remove the T3 Torx screw anchoring the lower microphone and USB-C port assembly to the bottom enclosure.

    Remove Microphone Board

    Gently pry beneath the daughterboard with a flat spudger to release the light adhesive beneath it, then lift out the microphone board.

    Install Replacement Board

    Position the new microphone daughterboard into the chassis recess and press gently down until it sits flush. Fasten the T3 Torx retaining screw.
