Step-by-step

Power off device
1 minTurn off the Google Pixel 6a immediately to prevent electrical short circuits. Do not attempt to charge the phone.

Remove SIM card tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool or thin paperclip into the hole on the left edge of the phone to eject the SIM tray.

10 minSubmerge the motherboard in 99% isopropyl alcohol and scrub away white or green liquid residue using a soft brush.
