- 2
Heat the display perimeter

Attach suction cup
1 minPlace a suction cup onto the lower portion of the front screen near the bottom edge. Press firmly to create a seal.
- 4

2 minPull up on the suction cup handle to create a small gap at the bottom edge. Slide a thin opening pick into the gap.

Slice perimeter display adhesive
4 minSlide the pick slowly around all four edges of the screen to cut the adhesive bond. Do not insert the pick deeper than 4 mm to protect internal cables.
- 6
Open display panel
2 minGently swing the right side of the screen open like a book page. Lay the screen next to the body without straining the ribbon cable.
- 7
Remove display shield screw

- 8
Remove display metal shield
1 minUse precision tweezers to lift away the small metal bracket covering the display cable connector.
- 9
Disconnect display flex cable
2 minPry the display ribbon connector straight up from its socket using a plastic spudger. Lift the display screen away from the frame.
- 10
Unscrew speaker housing
3 minLocate and remove the T5 Torx screws holding the bottom loudspeaker assembly to the phone chassis.
- 11
Pry up speaker module
2 minInsert a plastic spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker unit. Carefully pry upward to disengage the retaining clips.
- 12
Remove faulty speaker
1 minLift the bottom loudspeaker module out of the lower enclosure and set it aside.
- 13
Insert replacement speaker
2 minPosition the new loudspeaker module into the lower cavity. Ensure the metal spring contact pads align correctly with the motherboard contacts.
- 14
Press speaker module into place
1 minApply light downward thumb pressure on the speaker unit until it clicks flush into the phone frame.
- 15
Secure speaker screws
2 minReinstall and tighten all T5 Torx screws to lock the speaker assembly in place.
- 16
Reconnect display flex cable
2 minHold the display near the frame and press the cable connector onto its motherboard socket until it clicks.
- 17
Reinstall display bracket
2 minPlace the metal display bracket over the ribbon cable and secure it with its T5 Torx screw.
- 18
Apply new display adhesive
4 minClean remaining glue from the housing using isopropyl alcohol, then align and lay down fresh display adhesive tape.

Seal display assembly
