Step-by-step

Power Off Device
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select power off to shut down the Pixel 6 Pro completely.

Heat Display Edges
3 minApply a heated pad or heat gun around the perimeter of the screen for two minutes to soften the display adhesive.

Attach Suction Handle
2 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the display glass and pull up firmly to create a gap.

Insert Opening Pick
2 minSlide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap between the glass screen and the phone frame.

Disconnect Antenna Coaxial Cables
2 minUse tweezers to carefully pop off the coaxial antenna cables attached to the daughterboard.

Unscrew Charging Port Board
2 minRemove the retaining screws holding the charging port board to the lower frame assembly.

Remove Defective Port Board
2 minGently pry up and lift the old charging port daughterboard out of the lower frame housing.

Install New Charging Port Board
3 minAlign the replacement charging port board into the lower recess and press it firmly into place.
