   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely shut down before starting.

   Heat the Display Edges

   Apply heat around the outer perimeter of the screen using a heat gun for two minutes. This softens the adhesive securing the display to the frame.

   Apply Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the glass display. Press down firmly to create a tight vacuum seal.

   Slice Bottom Display Adhesive

   Pull up gently on the suction cup to create a tiny gap, then insert a plastic opening pick under the glass. Slide the pick along the bottom edge to slice the adhesive.

   Slice Side Display Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick carefully along the left and right edges of the display. Do not insert the pick deeper than 3 mm to avoid damaging interior cables.

   Open the Display

   Gently lift the screen open from the bottom edge, hinging it along the top edge like a book cover. Do not pull the screen off completely yet.

   Unscrew Display Cable Shield

   Use a T3 Torx screwdriver to remove the screws securing the metal bracket over the display connector. Remove the bracket with tweezers.

   Disconnect Display Flex Cable

   Use the flat end of a spudger to pry the display connector straight up from its motherboard socket. Carefully set the screen assembly aside.

   Unscrew Loudspeaker Housing

   Remove the T3 Torx screws securing the speaker module at the bottom of the phone. Store the screws safely for reassembly.

    Pry Out Damaged Speaker

    Insert a spudger under the edge of the lower speaker assembly. Gently lever the speaker up and remove it from the phone frame.

    Insert New Speaker Module

    Position the replacement speaker into the bottom cavity of the phone frame. Press gently until it sits completely flush.

    Fasten Loudspeaker Screws

    Reinstall the T3 Torx screws into the speaker module housing. Tighten each screw until secure without overtightening.

    Reconnect Display Flex Cable

    Align the display flex cable over its motherboard socket and press down firmly until you feel it snap into place.

    Reinstall Display Cable Shield

    Place the metal shield over the display connector socket and secure it with the reserved T3 Torx screws.

    Apply Fresh Display Adhesive

    Clean off old adhesive remnants using isopropyl alcohol, then lay down new pre-cut adhesive strips around the perimeter of the frame.

    Seal the Display

    Align the display assembly with the frame and lower it into place. Press firmly along all edges for 30 seconds to bond the new adhesive.
