   Press and hold the Power button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before beginning.

   Heat the Display Edges

   Apply a heated iOpener or heat gun around the outer edges of the screen for two minutes. This softens the strong adhesive securing the OLED panel to the housing.

   Attach the Suction Handle

   Press a suction cup onto the lower third of the screen glass and engage the locking latch. Pull upward gently to create a small gap between the glass and the bezel.

   Insert an Opening Pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created at the bottom edge of the phone. Keep the pick flat to avoid damaging the underlying OLED layer.

   Slice the Screen Adhesive

   Carefully slide the opening pick around all four perimeter edges to cut through the display adhesive. Do not insert the pick deeper than 3 mm along the right edge where the screen cable sits.

   Lift the Display Panel

   Gently swing the top edge of the screen up like a book page, keeping the bottom anchored. Lean the screen against a stable object so the fragile display cable is not strained.

   Unscrew the Display Cable Bracket

   Use a T3 Torx screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the metal bracket over the display connector. Remove the bracket and set it aside.

   Disconnect the Display Cable

   Insert the flat end of a plastic spudger beneath the display press connector and pry it straight up from the motherboard socket. Set the screen panel aside.

   Remove Lower Midframe Screws

   Unscrew the T3 Torx screws securing the plastic lower speaker housing over the microphone daughterboard. Group the screws together as they may differ in length.

    Detach the Speaker Cover

    Pry up the lower speaker module using a plastic spudger to unclip it from the phone frame. Lift the module out to fully expose the sub-board containing the primary microphone.

    Disconnect Interconnect and Coaxial Cables

    Use fine tweezers to gently pop the antenna coaxial connectors off their sockets on the sub-board. Pry up the main interconnect flex ribbon connector directly off the board.

    Remove the Microphone Sub-Board

    Insert a plastic opening tool beneath the sub-board and lift it out of the lower chassis. Ensure the rubber microphone port seal is removed with the old board or remains correctly positioned.

    Position the New Microphone Board

    Align the replacement sub-board into the bottom chassis, ensuring the primary microphone aligns with the mic port hole. Press it down flat until it sits flush in the frame.

    Reconnect Antenna and Flex Cables

    Press the interconnect flex ribbon connector onto the board until it snaps into place. Carefully snap the coaxial antenna cables back onto their matching board headers using tweezers.

    Reinstall the Speaker Module Cover

    Place the lower speaker housing back over the sub-board and press down until it clips into place. Drive in the T3 Torx screws firmly to secure the cover.

    Reconnect and Secure the Display Cable

    Align the display ribbon cable over its motherboard connector and press down firmly to snap it in place. Reinstall the metal bracket and secure it with the two T3 Torx screws.

    Apply New Display Adhesive

    Clean remaining adhesive off the chassis frame using isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth, then apply pre-cut display adhesive strips around the rim.

    Seal the Display Panel

    Align the OLED display carefully with the perimeter frame and press it gently into place. Firmly squeeze along all edges for 30 seconds to ensure a secure bond.
