   Heat Front Display Edges

   Apply a heat gun or hot air pad around the perimeter of the screen for two minutes. This softens the strong waterproof adhesive holding the display to the frame.

   Attach Suction Cup to Screen

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the display glass. Press firmly to create a seal and pull upward gently to create a thin gap.

   Slice Screen Adhesive Seal

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Carefully slide the pick along all four edges to slice through the adhesive perimeter.

   Pivot the Screen Open

   Gently swing the top edge of the display away from the phone body like a book cover. Do not pull the screen off completely, as it is still attached by a fragile flex cable.

   Unscrew Display Cable Shield
