Step-by-step

Apply heat to the display
2 minUse a heat gun or heated iOpener along the perimeter of the front screen for 2 minutes to soften the display adhesive.

Attach a suction cup
1 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the display and pull upward gently to create a slim opening.

Insert an opening pick
2 minSlide a thin opening pick into the gap between the glass screen assembly and the plastic outer bezel.

Slice perimeter adhesive
4 minSlide the pick around all four edges of the screen, keeping insertion depth under 2mm to avoid damaging internal ribbons.

Open the display assembly

Remove display bracket screws

3 minPeel and align pre-cut adhesive strips onto the top perimeter frame of the new housing.

Reconnect display and seal phone
3 minPlug in the display flex, reattach the metal bracket, and press the display firmly into the frame adhesive.
