Step-by-step

Power off the Pixel 3a XL
1 minPress and hold the power button on the right edge, then select 'Power off' on the screen.

Heat the display perimeter

Attach a suction cup
1 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the front glass panel.

Slice the bottom adhesive

2 minAlign the replacement loudspeaker module with the bottom recess and press it firmly into place.

Reinstall the midframe
3 minSet the midframe onto the phone body and tighten all T3 Torx screws securely.

Reconnect the display cable
1 minAlign the display ribbon cable connector over its motherboard socket and press firmly until it clicks.

Secure the cable shield
1 minPlace the display metal bracket over the connector and reinstall the T3 Torx screw.

Seal the display assembly
3 minApply new precut adhesive strips to the housing edges, press the glass screen into place, and hold firmly.
