2 minSlide the plastic pick carefully up the left edge of the screen to cut through the display adhesive.

2 minSlide the pick around the bottom corner and up along the right edge of the frame to separate the adhesive.

Slice Top Adhesive
2 minCarefully slice through the top edge adhesive, taking care around the front camera and speaker mesh cutout.

Pry Open Screen
1 minGently lift the top edge of the display assembly up like a book cover, pivoting it from the bottom edge.

Unscrew Bracket Screws
2 minUse a T3 Torx screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the metal display cable cover in place.

Remove Display Bracket
1 minUse tweezers to lift the small metal shielding bracket off the display connector and set it aside.

Disconnect Display Flex Cable
1 minUse the flat end of a spudger to pry the display press-connector straight up from its motherboard socket.

Remove Old Screen
1 minLift the damaged screen assembly off the phone frame entirely and move it away from the workspace.

4 minScrape off residual adhesive around the metal frame using a plastic spudger and a few drops of isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth.

3 minLay down custom-cut display adhesive strips precisely along the outer lip of the cleaned frame and peel away the protective backing.

Attach Replacement Screen Cable
2 minAlign and press the display flex connector of the new screen into its motherboard socket until it clicks into place.

Secure Cable Bracket
2 minReposition the metal bracket over the connector and reinstall the two T3 Torx screws tightly.
