   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole on the left side of the device to pop out the tray.

   Heat the front display edge

   Apply a heat gun set to low temperature along the outer edges of the screen for two minutes to soften the display adhesive.

   Attach suction cup to display

   Place a suction cup near the top edge of the screen, just below the ear speaker, and press down firmly to secure it.

   Insert opening pick

   Pull up on the suction cup to create a small gap, then insert a plastic opening pick under the top glass edge.

   Slice perimeter adhesive

   Slide the pick carefully around all four sides of the display, keeping it shallow to avoid damaging internal ribbons.

   Hinge the screen open

   Gently lift the screen from the top edge and swing it open like a book toward the bottom of the phone.

   Remove display connector screw

   Use a T3 Torx screwdriver to remove the single screw securing the metal display cable bracket.

    Attach fresh adhesive strips to the backside of your replacement battery, pressing them down flat.
