   Unscrew bottom pentalobe screws

   Power down your iPhone completely. Remove the two 6.9 mm P2 Pentalobe screws located on the bottom edge near the Lightning port.

   Apply heat to bottom edge

   Warm the lower edge of the phone using a heat gun or hair dryer for two minutes to soften the display perimeter adhesive.

   Attach suction cup and open gap

   Place a suction cup on the lower glass near the home indicator and pull upward with firm pressure to create a slight gap.

   Slice perimeter display adhesive

   Insert an opening pick into the gap and carefully slide it around the bottom and sides of the frame to separate the display adhesive.

   Open display like a book

   Swing the display open from the left side toward the right, resting it against a sturdy box to prevent stress on the flex cables.

   Remove lower bracket cover

   Unscrew the four Y000 screws securing the metal cover plate over the battery and display connectors.

   Disconnect battery flex cable

   Use a plastic spudger to gently lever the battery connector straight up out of its socket.

   Disconnect display and sensor cables

   Disconnect the display panel cable, digitizer cable, and front sensor assembly cable using the flat end of a spudger.

   Detach display assembly

   Lift the entire display assembly away from the rear frame and set it aside in a safe workspace.

    Eject SIM card tray

    Insert a SIM eject tool or straightened paperclip into the hole on the side frame to push out and remove the SIM tray.

    Remove rear camera bracket

    Unscrew the Y000 screws holding the rear camera cover in place and lift off the metal bracket.

    Remove rear camera module

    Disconnect both camera flex cables from the board and lift the camera module out of the chassis.

    Remove logic board standoff screws

    Unscrew the standoff screws and remaining mounting brackets securing the top and middle sections of the logic board.

    Disconnect logic board flex cables

    Unplug all remaining flex ribbon connectors attached to the motherboard, including the volume buttons and wireless charging coil.

    Remove logic board

    Gently pivot the logic board up from the lower corner and pull it clear of the iPhone frame.

    Remove loudspeaker and Taptic Engine

    Unscrew and remove the lower speaker module and Taptic Engine to clear space along the lower housing.

    Heat rear glass housing

    Apply heat to the center exterior back glass for two minutes to soften the adhesive holding the wireless charging coil.

    Peel up wireless charging coil

    Use a plastic opening tool to slide beneath the wireless charging assembly, carefully lifting the coil and power/volume buttons off the frame.
