Power off the iPhone

1 minLift the entire display assembly off and set it aside to prevent strain on remaining connections.

Remove the loudspeaker screws
2 minRemove the three Phillips #000 screws securing the loudspeaker module to the bottom of the rear case.

Pry out the old loudspeaker
2 minInsert a spudger under the loudspeaker assembly and gently lever it out of the rear case housing.

Insert the new loudspeaker module
2 minAlign the replacement loudspeaker into the bottom cavity of the rear case and press down gently until it sits flush.

Fasten the loudspeaker screws
2 minReinstall the three Phillips #000 screws to firmly secure the new loudspeaker in place.

Reassemble the display cables
4 minReconnect the display cables, reinstall the display bracket, reconnect the Touch ID cable, and snap the display back into the case.
