Remove Pentalobe Screws
2 minPower off your iPhone 6s completely. Use a P2 Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two 3.4 mm screws on either side of the Lightning connector.

Attach Suction Cup
1 minPlace a suction cup onto the lower left corner of the display assembly, just above the Home button. Press down firmly to ensure a tight seal.

Separate the Display
3 minPull up on the suction cup while holding the rear case to create a small gap. Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and gently slide along the bottom edge.

Remove Battery Bracket Screws
2 minRemove the two Phillips #000 screws securing the metal battery connector bracket to the logic board. Lift the bracket out using tweezers.

Disconnect the Battery
1 minUse the flat edge of a spudger to pry the battery connector straight up from its socket on the logic board. Keep the connector away from the board to avoid accidental contact.

Remove Display Cable Bracket
2 minRemove the four Phillips #000 screws securing the display cable bracket near the upper right corner. Carefully lift the metal bracket out of the device.

Disconnect Display Assembly
3 minUse a spudger to disconnect the front camera, digitizer, and display cables from the logic board. Separate the display assembly from the phone base.

Unscrew the Taptic Engine
2 minRemove the two Phillips #000 screws securing the Taptic Engine vibrator module near the lower left corner of the case.

Remove Taptic Engine
2 minDisconnect the Taptic Engine ribbon cable connector using a spudger, then lift the unit out of the rear enclosure.

Unscrew Lower Loudspeaker
2 minRemove the three Phillips #000 screws securing the loudspeaker assembly at the bottom right corner of the rear case.

Remove Loudspeaker Assembly
2 minInsert a plastic spudger beneath the loudspeaker module and pry it upward to release it from the lower adhesive.

Disconnect Antenna Cable
1 minUse the pointed tip of a spudger to pop the coaxial antenna connector off the lower end of the logic board.

Remove Charging Port Screws
3 minRemove the five Phillips #000 screws holding the headphone jack, Lightning port, and lower microphones to the rear case.

Peel Up Assembly Adhesive
3 minGently slide a plastic opening tool under the flex cable to loosen the adhesive securing the charging port assembly to the enclosure floor.

Install Replacement Port Assembly
4 minAlign the new Lightning port assembly into the rear case, pressing the microphone, headphone jack, and port firmly into their matching cutouts.

Reassemble Components and Screen
5 minReinstall the loudspeaker, Taptic Engine, and screen assembly in reverse order. Secure all screws and reconnect the battery connector before closing the case.
