Power off the iPhone
1 minPress and hold the Sleep/Wake button, then slide the power off switch on the screen to turn off the phone.

Attach suction cup to display

Lift lower display edge
2 minPull up firmly on the suction cup to create a slight separation between the display and the rear case.

Slice display adhesive

2 minPry open the front panel from the bottom, propping it upright at a 90-degree angle against a solid object.

Remove battery bracket screws

2 minLift the loudspeaker module up and pull it away from the bottom portion of the rear case.

2 minLower the replacement loudspeaker module into the lower case until it seats evenly into position.

Reconnect antenna cable
2 minAlign and press down on the antenna cable connector until it snaps into the socket on the new loudspeaker.

Secure loudspeaker screws
3 minReinstall and tighten the five Phillips screws to fasten the loudspeaker assembly in place.

Reconnect battery cable
1 minPress the battery cable connector back into its socket on the logic board until securely seated.

Reinstall battery bracket
2 minPlace the metal battery bracket over the connector and secure it using the two Phillips screws.

Close display and replace pentalobe screws
3 minLower the display assembly flat into the rear case, press the top and sides until flush, and reinstall the two Pentalobe screws.
