   Unscrew Pentalobe Screws

   Power off your iPhone completely. Remove the two 3.6 mm P2 Pentalobe screws located on either side of the Lightning connector.

   Apply Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup onto the front screen just above the Home button. Ensure it achieves a tight seal against the glass.

   Pry Display Edge

   Pull up gently on the suction cup to create a small gap at the bottom of the screen. Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap.

   Slice Display Clips

   Slide the plastic pick around the lower left and right edges to release the internal metal clips holding the screen.

   Open Display Assembly

   Pivot the bottom edge of the display upward to an angle of about 90 degrees. Prop it up against a box to keep it stable.

   Unscrew Battery Bracket

   Remove the two Phillips #00 screws holding the metal battery connector bracket to the logic board.

   Remove Battery Bracket

   Use precision tweezers to lift the metal battery bracket out of the rear case.

   Disconnect Battery

   Pry the battery connector straight up from its socket on the logic board using the flat end of a spudger.

   Unscrew Display Cable Shield

   Remove the five Phillips #00 screws securing the display cable bracket near the top right of the phone.

    Remove Display Cable Shield

    Lift the display cable shield off the logic board using tweezers.

    Disconnect Display Cables

    Disconnect the front camera, digitizer, and LCD cables by gently prying their press connectors off the logic board.

    Remove Display Assembly

    Separate the display assembly completely from the rear case and set it safely aside.

    Unscrew Loudspeaker

    Remove the six Phillips #00 screws holding down the lower loudspeaker and antenna bracket assembly.

    Disconnect Antenna Cable

    Use a spudger to pop the cellular antenna coaxial cable off its socket on the bottom left corner of the logic board.

    Remove Loudspeaker

    Lift the loudspeaker out of the phone frame and remove it completely.

    Disconnect Lightning Cable Connector

    Pry the Lightning port flex cable connector straight up from its socket on the lower edge of the logic board.

    Unscrew Lightning Port Assembly

    Remove the seven Phillips #00 screws securing the Lightning port flex cable, headphone jack, and microphone.

    Pry Up Lightning Flex Cable

    Gently insert an opening pick under the flex cable adhesive to separate it from the aluminum casing.

    Remove Old Assembly

    Carefully lift the old Lightning connector assembly and headphone jack out of the rear enclosure.

    Position New Assembly

    Set the new Lightning port assembly into place, ensuring the headphone jack, lightning port, and microphone align with their rubber gaskets.

    Secure Assembly Screws

    Reinstall the seven Phillips #00 screws to fasten the Lightning connector and headphone jack to the bottom of the frame.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker

    Set the loudspeaker back into position over the Lightning connector assembly and tighten its six Phillips screws.

    Reconnect Antenna and Lightning Cable

    Press the antenna cable socket and the Lightning connector flex cable firmly back onto the logic board.

    Reconnect Display Cables

    Attach the LCD, digitizer, and front camera flex connectors to their sockets on the top of the logic board.

    Reinstall Cable Shield

    Place the display cable shield over the connectors and secure it using its five Phillips screws.

    Reconnect Battery

    Snap the battery connector onto its socket, replace the battery bracket, and tighten the two Phillips screws.

    Close Display Assembly

    Hook the top edge of the screen into the frame, then gently press along the sides until the display snaps flush into place.

    Secure Pentalobe Screws

    Reinstall the two 3.6 mm P2 Pentalobe screws beside the Lightning port to lock the display shut.
