Power Off Device
1 minPress and hold the Power button, then slide to power off the iPhone 5c completely before starting.

Remove Bottom Pentalobe Screws
2 minUse a P2 Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two 3.8 mm screws flanking the Lightning port.

Attach Suction Cup

1 minUse a spudger to snap the Lightning connector flex cable up off its socket on the main logic board.

1 minDisconnect the cellular antenna cable connector located near the bottom edge of the logic board.

2 minUnscrew the remaining Phillips #000 screws securing the headphone jack, microphone, and Lightning port to the frame.

Peel Up Lightning Assembly
3 minCarefully slide a flat opening tool under the flex cable to separate the adhesive securing the ribbon to the case.

Install Replacement Charging Port Assembly
5 minPosition the new Lightning assembly into place, press down firmly on the adhesive areas, and secure the mounting screws.
