Step-by-step

Power Off the iPhone
1 minPress and hold the side button and volume up button simultaneously until the sliders appear. Slide to power off completely before starting.

2 minUse a P2 Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two 3.8 mm screws located on either side of the USB-C port.

Heat the Rear Glass

3 minUse tweezers and isopropyl alcohol to clear any leftover adhesive or debris from the speaker mounting area.

2 minAlign the replacement loudspeaker module over the lower chassis alignment posts and press it gently into position.

Secure Speaker Screws
3 minReinstall and tighten the screws securing the loudspeaker module in place.
