   Power off the device

   Press and hold the side button and volume down button, then slide the screen toggle to power down the iPhone 16 Pro completely.

   Remove the Pentalobe screws

   Use a P2 Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two 1.5 mm screws located on either side of the USB-C port.

   Heat the bottom display edge

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer to the bottom edge of the screen for two minutes to soften the internal waterproof adhesive.

   Attach the suction cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower half of the screen, just above the home bar area, and press down to lock suction.

   Create a lower opening gap

   Pull up firmly on the suction cup to create a small gap between the glass display and the titanium frame, then insert an opening pick.

   Slice through the bottom adhesive

   Slide the opening pick back and forth along the bottom edge of the phone to cut through the adhesive seal.

   Slice the right side adhesive

   Guide the opening pick around the bottom-right corner and move up along the right edge to sever the side adhesive.

   Slice the left side adhesive

   Insert the pick into the bottom-left corner and slide it up along the left edge, being careful not to insert the pick deeper than 3 mm.

   Slice the top edge adhesive

   Gently maneuver the pick across the top border of the display to separate the remaining screen adhesive.

    Open the display panel

    Swing the screen open from the right side like a book cover, resting it against a sturdy object so it does not pull on the flex cables.

    Unscrew the cable bracket

    Use a Tri-point Y000 screwdriver to remove the screws holding the metal bracket over the logic board connectors.

    Remove the logic board bracket

    Use tweezers to lift the metal shield off the logic board and set it aside in a magnetic tray.

    Disconnect the battery flex cable

    Pry the battery press connector straight up from its socket on the logic board using the pointed end of a spudger.

    Disconnect the display cable

    Use the flat end of a spudger to gently pop the main display flex cable off its logic board socket.

    Detach the screen assembly

    Lift the display assembly free from the titanium frame and place it face-down on a clean surface.

    Unscrew the top sensor module

    Remove the Tri-point screws securing the sensor bracket at the top of the old display panel.

    Transfer the sensor module

    Carefully pry up the sensor array using a spudger and transfer it to the matching location on the replacement screen.

    Clean frame adhesive

    Peel away old adhesive remnants from the titanium frame border using a plastic tool and a drop of isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply new waterproof adhesive

    Align the pre-cut replacement display adhesive gasket onto the frame, press it down firmly along the perimeter, and peel off the backing liner.

    Reconnect display and battery cables

    Press the display cable connector into its socket until it clicks, then snap the battery flex cable back into place.

    Reinstall the metal bracket

    Position the logic board cover bracket over the connectors and tighten the Tri-point Y000 screws.

    Press the display into frame

    Align the top edge of the display panel into the frame notches and press firmly around all edges until the glass sits flush.

    Install bottom Pentalobe screws

    Insert and tighten the two P2 Pentalobe screws on either side of the USB-C port to complete the repair.
