3 minUnscrew the retaining screws holding the bottom loudspeaker enclosure in place.

1 minPry the Taptic Engine ribbon cable connector straight up from the logic board using a spudger.

2 minRemove the Standoff and Phillips screws anchoring the Taptic Engine assembly to the rear enclosure.

1 minLift the faulty Taptic Engine straight out of the phone body using blunt tweezers.
