Power off the iPhone
1 minPress and hold the side button along with either volume button, then slide to power down.

Remove the bottom screws
2 minUnscrew the two 6.8 mm P2 Pentalobe screws located on either side of the USB-C charging port.

Heat the rear perimeter
2 minApply heat around the rear outer edges for two minutes to soften the internal waterproof adhesive.

Attach the suction cup
1 minPlace the suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear glass and press down to create a firm seal.

Slice the perimeter adhesive
5 minInsert an opening pick into the gap created by pulling the suction cup and slide along the lower edge.

2 minGently swing open the rear glass assembly to the right side, taking care not to strain the internal cables.

Extract the logic board
3 minGently lift the logic board from the top end and remove it entirely from the chassis.
