Step-by-step

Power down the device
1 minPress and hold the side button and either volume button, then slide to power off the iPhone 15 completely.

Remove the pentalobe screws
2 minUnscrew the two 3.8 mm P2 pentalobe screws located on the bottom edge near the USB-C port.

Heat the lower edge
2 minApply a heated iOpener or heat gun to the lower edge of the back glass for two minutes to soften the perimeter adhesive.

Attach a suction cup
1 minPlace a suction cup onto the lower portion of the rear glass panel, just above the USB-C port.

Create an opening gap
2 minPull up firmly on the suction cup handle to create a small separation gap between the back glass and aluminum frame.

1 minInsert a thin plastic opening pick into the gap along the bottom seam of the device.

3 minRemove the Y000 tri-point screws holding the wireless charging assembly to the inner back panel.

Peel up the defective charging coil
3 minCarefully insert a flat plastic card beneath the wireless charging coil to separate it from the inner rear glass.

Position the new wireless coil
2 minAlign the replacement wireless charging coil and MagSafe magnet ring against the interior back glass and press firmly.

Reconnect the wireless charging flex
2 minAlign the rear panel flex connector over its logic board socket and press down until it snaps into place.

Reinstall the connector bracket
