   Power Down the iPhone

   Press and hold the side button along with either volume button until the power slider appears. Slide to turn off the iPhone completely.

   Remove Bottom Pentalobe Screws

   Use a P2 Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two 3.8 mm screws located on both sides of the USB-C port.

   Warm the Screen Adhesive

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer around the outer edges of the display for two minutes to soften the waterproof adhesive seal.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup onto the lower third of the front glass, just above the USB-C port.

   Create Opening Gap

   Pull up firmly on the suction cup to create a slight gap between the front display and the titanium frame.

   Slice Bottom Adhesive

   Insert an opening pick into the seam near the bottom edge no deeper than 2 mm to cut through the adhesive.

   Slice Left Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick around the bottom-left corner and up the left edge of the phone to separate the frame seal.

   Slice Top Adhesive

   Continue sliding the pick around the top edge, taking care not to push too deep near the earpiece speaker area.

   Slice Right Adhesive

   Slide the pick down the right edge carefully, keeping insertion shallow to avoid damaging underlying flex cables.

    Open Screen Assembly

    Gently swing the display open from the left side to the right, like the cover of a book. Rest it against a stable object.

    Remove Bracket Screws

    Use a Tri-point Y000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the metal logic board shield.

    Remove Connector Bracket

    Use precision tweezers to lift the metal shield out of the phone body and set it aside.

    Disconnect the Battery

    Use the flat end of a plastic spudger to pry the battery connector straight up from its logic board socket.

    Disconnect Display Cable

    Pry the display flex cable connector straight up off the logic board with a plastic spudger.

    Disconnect Sensor Cable

    Unplug the ambient light and proximity sensor flex connector from the motherboard.

    Detach Old Screen Assembly

    Lift the entire display assembly off the frame and place it on a clean work surface.

    Remove Sensor Assembly

    Unscrew the bracket holding the top sensor assembly on the back of the old display and detach the flex cable gently.

    Install Sensor on New Screen

    Align the sensor assembly into its designated notch on the new screen and secure it with the saved screws.

    Clean Frame Perimeter

    Scrape off residual adhesive along the frame perimeter using a spudger and clean it with isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply New Frame Adhesive

    Peel the backing off a pre-cut display adhesive seal and press it precisely around the cleaned outer rim of the frame.

    Connect New Display

    Align and press the display flex cable onto its socket on the logic board until it snaps into place.

    Connect Sensor Cable

    Snap the upper sensor flex cable connector firmly into its board socket.

    Reconnect the Battery

    Press the battery cable connector straight down into its socket to restore power connectivity.

    Reinstall Connector Bracket

    Place the metal shield over the connectors and tighten the Tri-point screws to lock it into position.

    Seal Display to Frame

    Align the top clips of the screen into the frame, then firmly press around all outer edges until the glass sits flush.

    Reinstall Bottom Screws

    Thread and tighten the two P2 Pentalobe screws beside the USB-C port to complete assembly.
