   Power Off the iPhone

   Press and hold the side button and volume up button, then slide the power off slider. Ensure the screen is entirely dark before proceeding.

   Remove the Bottom Pentalobe Screws

   Use a P2 pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two 1.5 mm screws located on either side of the USB-C port.

   Heat the Lower Edge

   Apply heat using a heat gun or hairdryer to the lower edge of the phone for two minutes to soften the display adhesive.

   Attach the Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower half of the front glass, positioned just above the USB-C port.

   Create an Initial Gap

   Pull up firmly on the suction cup to create a small gap between the screen bezel and the titanium frame.

   Insert an Opening Pick

   Slide the tip of a plastic opening pick into the gap created at the bottom edge of the device.

   Slice Lower Edge Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick back and forth along the bottom edge to slice through the screen adhesive.

   Heat Side Edges

   Apply heat to the left and right sides of the phone for 90 seconds to soften the remaining perimeter seal.

   Slice Left Side Adhesive

   Slide the pick along the left edge toward the volume buttons, inserting the pick no deeper than 3 mm.

    Slice Right Side Adhesive

    Move the pick to the right edge and slide it upward toward the power button to break the adhesive.

    Slice Top Edge Adhesive

    Carefully slide the pick across the top edge of the display, keeping it shallow to avoid damaging sensor cables.

    Open Display Assembly

    Swing the screen open from the left side like a book cover, resting it flat or propping it against a stable support.

    Remove Logic Board Cover Screws

    Use a Tri-point Y000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the metal connector shield over the motherboard.

    Remove the Logic Board Shield

    Use precision tweezers to lift and remove the metal shield covering the display and battery cable connectors.

    Disconnect the Battery Cable

    Use the flat end of a plastic spudger to gently pry the battery press connector straight up out of its socket.

    Disconnect the Display Cables

    Disconnect the display cable and sensor cable connectors from the logic board using the tip of a spudger.

    Separate Display Assembly

    Lift the display assembly completely away from the frame and place it face down on a clean surface.

    Clean Frame Adhesive Residue

    Scrape away remaining adhesive remnants along the inside perimeter of the chassis using a spudger and isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply New Perimeter Adhesive

    Align the pre-cut adhesive seal onto the frame edges, press down along all borders, and peel off the top liner.

    Connect New Display Cables

    Align and press the display connectors firmly onto the motherboard until they click into position.

    Reconnect Battery Cable

    Snap the battery connector back into its logic board socket to restore power connectivity.

    Reinstall Logic Board Shield

    Position the metal shield over the connectors and secure it using the Tri-point Y000 screws.

    Align and Press Screen into Frame

    Align the top edge of the screen with the top frame, then lower it into place and gently press the edges into the seal.

    Reinstall Bottom Pentalobe Screws

    Tighten the two P2 pentalobe screws next to the USB-C charging port to secure the screen.
