   Power off the iPhone

   Press and hold the side button and either volume button, then slide to power off. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Remove pentalobe screws

   Use a P2 Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two 6.8 mm screws located on either side of the Lightning port.

   Cover shattered glass with tape

   Apply overlapping strips of clear packing tape over the entire back panel. This keeps shattered shards together and helps the suction cup adhere.

   Heat the lower edge

   Use a heat gun on a low setting to warm the bottom edge of the rear glass for 2 minutes to soften the factory adhesive.

   Attach suction cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the back glass, as close to the bottom edge as possible.

   Insert an opening pick

   Pull up on the suction cup to create a small gap and slide a thin plastic opening pick between the back glass and the metal frame.

   Slice side perimeter adhesive

   Slide the pick along the left and right edges of the phone to slice through the adhesive holding the glass to the frame.

   Warm the wireless charging area

   Apply gentle heat to the center of the rear panel for 1 to 2 minutes to loosen the glue surrounding the MagSafe coil.

   Separate glass from MagSafe assembly

   Insert a flat plastic spudger carefully beneath the glass near the center, taking care not to puncture or tear the wireless charging coil.

    Heat around camera housing

    Direct warm air around the rear camera bezels for 2 minutes to weaken the heavy adhesive holding the glass around the lenses.

    Remove glass shards around cameras

    Use precision tweezers to pry up and pick away remaining glass fragments surrounding the elevated camera lens rings.

    Scrape away frame adhesive

    Use a spudger or flat metal scraper tool to clear out residual factory glue and micro glass pieces from the inner frame ledge.

    Clean frame with isopropyl alcohol

    Wipe down the metal frame ledge with a lint-free swab dampened with 99% isopropyl alcohol to remove all oil and residue.

    Apply replacement adhesive strips

    Peel the protective backing off pre-cut back glass adhesive and carefully press it into the perimeter rim of the phone frame.

    Align replacement back glass

    Remove the remaining adhesive backing film and position the replacement back glass precisely over the camera housing and frame.

    Press new glass into place

    Firmly press along all edges and across the center of the new back glass to ensure full adhesion with the frame.

    Reinstall pentalobe screws

    Reinsert and tighten the two 6.8 mm Pentalobe screws next to the charging port using your P2 screwdriver.
