Power Off the Device
1 minPress and hold the side button and volume down button until the slider appears. Slide to completely turn off your iPhone.

3 minCover the broken back glass with overlapping strips of clear packing tape. This prevents stray glass shards from scattering during removal.

Remove Pentalobe Screws
2 minUse a P2 Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two 6.8 mm screws located on either side of the Lightning port.
