Step-by-step

Power Off the iPhone
1 minPress and hold the side button and volume up button simultaneously until the sliders appear. Slide the power off control to completely turn off the device.

3 minRemove the Phillips screws holding the lower loudspeaker in place inside the bottom enclosure.

2 minGently pry up and extract the loudspeaker module from the bottom right corner.

Remove Taptic Engine
3 minUnscrew the securing screws and lift the Taptic Engine vibration motor out of the housing.

Unscrew Microphone Flex Assembly
3 minRemove the retaining screws holding the primary microphone module and lower flex cable assembly.

Peel Up Microphone Cable
4 minSlide a flat spudger under the microphone flex cable assembly to detach it from the rear casing adhesive.
