Power Off iPhone
1 minPress and hold the side button and volume down button, then slide to power off the device completely.

Remove Pentalobe Screws
2 minUnscrew the two 6.8 mm P2 Pentalobe screws located on either side of the Lightning charging port.

Heat Bottom Display Edge
2 minApply heat to the lower edge of the iPhone for two minutes using a heat gun to soften the display adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup
1 minPlace a suction cup onto the lower half of the screen, just above the home indicator area, and press firmly.

1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the SIM tray slot to pop out and remove the tray.

Remove Rear Camera Bracket Screws
2 minUnscrew the two Tri-point Y000 screws holding down the metal shield over the rear camera module.

Disconnect Rear Camera Connectors
3 minDisconnect all three rear camera ribbon cables from the top section of the logic board.

Disconnect Remaining Flex Cables
5 minPry up the upper sensor, lightning port, wireless charging, and antenna flex connectors from the logic board.

4 minRemove the remaining standoff and Phillips screws securing the logic board to the inner rear frame.

Lift Out Logic Board
2 minGently tilt the logic board up from the bottom edge and lift it out of the rear enclosure assembly.
