3 minUnscrew the Phillips screws securing the lower loudspeaker housing and Taptic Engine to access the bottom adhesive pull-tabs.

2 minLift the Taptic Engine assembly out of the lower chassis using precision tweezers to clear the path for the battery strips.

Pull Stretch-Release Adhesive Strips
5 minGrasp each exposed black adhesive pull-tab with tweezers and pull them out slowly horizontally from under the battery.
