Step-by-step

Power Off Device
1 minPress and hold the side button and either volume button simultaneously, then slide the slider to turn off the iPhone.

Remove Bottom Screws
2 minUse a P2 Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two 3.5 mm screws located on either side of the Lightning port.

2 minApply moderate heat to the center exterior rear glass for two minutes to loosen the coil's backing adhesive.

Pry Off Wireless Coil
3 minSlide a plastic opening pick under the edge of the MagSafe wireless charging coil and carefully peel it off the rear glass.

Clean Rear Glass Surface
2 minWipe away remaining adhesive residue from the back glass using a lint-free swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol.
