   Power off device

   Turn off your iPhone 13 Mini completely before starting the repair.

   Remove pentalobe screws

   Use a P2 Pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two 3.5 mm screws next to the Lightning port.

   Heat the bottom edge

   Apply a heat gun or hairdryer to the bottom edge of the display for 90 seconds to soften the adhesive.

   Attach suction cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower portion of the screen, just above the bottom edge.

   Insert opening pick

   Pull up firmly on the suction cup to create a gap, then insert an opening pick under the glass.

   Slice bottom adhesive

   Slide the opening pick along the bottom edge to cut through the waterproof seal.

   Slice left adhesive

   Move the pick up the left edge of the phone to loosen the display clips and adhesive.

   Slice right adhesive

   Slide the pick along the right edge of the frame to separate the remaining adhesive.

   Open the display

   Swing the display open from the right side like a book, pivoting along the left edge.

    Remove bracket screws

    Use a Y000 tri-point screwdriver to remove the three screws securing the lower cover plate.

    Remove logic board bracket

    Use tweezers to lift out the metal cover plate protecting the display and battery connectors.

    Disconnect the battery

    Pry the battery connector straight up from its socket using a plastic spudger.

    Disconnect display cable

    Pry up the display cable connector from the logic board using a spudger.

    Disconnect sensor assembly

    Use a spudger to disconnect the ambient light and proximity sensor cable connector.

    Separate display assembly

    Lift the display screen free from the iPhone frame and set it on a clean work surface.

    Unscrew upper sensor array

    Remove the four screws securing the speaker and sensor assembly to the back of the old screen.

    Flip speaker module

    Carefully swing the earpiece speaker down away from the top edge of the display.

    Unseat sensor components

    Use a spudger to carefully pry the microphone, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor from their housings.

    Transfer sensor assembly

    Move the entire sensor assembly into the corresponding slots on your new screen.

    Secure sensor bracket

    Position the speaker bracket and drive the screws back in to secure the sensor assembly.

    Clean frame perimeter

    Remove residual adhesive from the aluminum frame using isopropyl alcohol and a plastic spudger.

    Apply display adhesive

    Lay down a new waterproof display adhesive gasket onto the clean frame edges.

    Connect display cables

    Press the new screen's cable and sensor connectors straight down onto their board sockets until they click.

    Reconnect the battery

    Press the battery connector back onto its socket on the logic board.

    Reinstall bracket and screws

    Position the metal cover plate and tighten the Y000 screws to lock the connectors in place.

    Seal display to frame

    Align the top edge of the display first, then gently press down around all edges until it snaps flush.

    Install pentalobe screws

    Insert and tighten the two P2 Pentalobe screws on either side of the charging port.
