Power Off iPhone
1 minPress and hold the side button along with either volume button, then slide to power off the device completely.

2 minUse a Y000 driver to remove the four Y000 screws securing the lower metal connector bracket.

1 minUse the flat end of a plastic spudger to pry the battery press connector straight up from its logic board socket.

2 minUse the spudger to disconnect the OLED screen and digitizer flex cables from the logic board.

1 minLift the display assembly off the rear enclosure and place it on a clean, scratch-free surface.

Unscrew Loudspeaker
3 minRemove the four Phillips and Tri-Point screws securing the lower loudspeaker assembly to the frame.

2 minGently lift the loudspeaker out of the bottom chassis using tweezers and set it aside.

Unscrew Taptic Engine
2 minRemove the three screws holding the Taptic Engine module to the bottom edge of the frame.

1 minUse a spudger to pry the Taptic Engine flex cable connector directly up from its socket.

1 minLift the Taptic Engine out of the chassis using plastic tweezers.
