Step-by-step

Remove Pentalobe screws
2 minUnscrew the two 6.7 mm P2 Pentalobe screws located on the bottom edge of the iPhone next to the charging port.

Heat lower screen edge
3 minApply a heat gun or iOpener to the bottom edge of the display for two minutes to soften the waterproof seal.

Attach suction handle
1 minPlace a suction cup onto the lower third of the front glass, just above the bottom bezel.

Slice bottom display adhesive
3 minPull up on the suction handle to create a slight gap, then insert an opening pick under the bottom edge of the screen.
